She lived here? She was a Shadowclan cat? Then that meant he had been trying to chase one of his own clan off! His head spun as he tried to figure out what had just happened and what would happen. He sprinted after her, following her mostly by scent now as she had disappeared from sight. He found her back at the tree where she had stolen his mouse, which still lay there dead. "Lillypaw?" he asked as he approached her slowing down. "Lillypaw, if you are a Shadowclan cat, then I was wrong to chase you as I did, and I am sure you have a place in the clan."

"If you are alive, then it was meant to be," he said kindly but sternly. He looked at her, smiling. "Then you are coming back to Shadowclan?" he asked hopefully. She looked like she needed a place to stay and be welcomed, and now he felt sorry for having chased her. If she had lived as a loner, then she probably had not had the easiest of times lately and especially if she had never had the proper training needed by a Clan cat.
